Shopify starts from the inexpensive plan which costs 9 dollars a month offering five options. Advanced Shopify plan is $299. But the small price means that not a lot of tools are available. It allows you to use only a limited set of features. Merchants using Lite version do not get a fully functional store. It is a simple button (“Shopify Button”) that can be embedded on the site. It can be even used on Facebook for selling some items. This starting option can be utilized for selling products at POS and managing the orders with the help of Shopify backend. Also, Shopify beats Bigcommerce and some other Shopify alternatives when we are talking about theme selection. Ten of its templates are available for no charge (only seven in Bigcommerce). Besides, the difference between some template designs in Bigcommerce is insignificant, so in fact, we can find just two free templates. Paid-for themes number about ninety in Bigcommerce. The prices are in the range from one forty-five to two thirty-five dollars. Shopify themes are fewer and slightly cheaper than Bigcommerce. Besides, Shopify offers more variety within every theme.
